Prof. Dr. Mohamed Al-Ghazou, Director General of the Hospital, stated that due to the increasing number of injured persons and the urgent need for an urgent care family, today an additional intensive care unit dedicated to covid19 patients was opened with a capacity of 20 beds

This brings the number of ICU beds allocated to these patients to 55.

The invasion stated that this expansion comes in line with the royal directives to provide all capabilities to confront the epidemic and with the great cooperation and support from the Ministry of Health, which provided the hospital with the required devices and equipment.
