It is considered one of the distinguished departments in the medical services in the North Region and includes about seven specialists. It provides many delicate specialties in brain and neurosurgery, and performs simple as well as complex surgeries with results comparable to international centers and excellent results through the medical teams necessary to perform such operations to reach the best  The results include these medical teams (orthopedics, internal diseases, neurology, rehabilitation therapy, and maxillofacial surgery). It is distinguished by a medical staff, and the department is equipped with the latest diagnostic tools and advanced treatment capabilities.

 The department also provides a training program for doctors in the higher specialization neurosurgery

 Medical services related to brain, neurosurgery and spine that require surgical intervention are provided, including brain and spine, brain artery malformations, brain and spine injuries resulting from accidents and falls, as well as congenital malformations of the brain and spinal cord, and cerebral infarction, in addition to the treatment of disc herniations through  Simple and complex surgical interventions, in addition to spinal stabilization operations.
