Czech Ambassador hands over medical equipment to King Abdullah University Hospital in Irbid
H.E Alexandr Sporys, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, paid an official visit to King Abdullah University Hospital in Irbid to deliver the Czech medical equipment, as part of the Reconstruction Program of the Czech Republic for the Middle East for the period 2022-2024.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, the CEO of King Abdullah University Hospital,Prof. Khaldoun Bashaireh expressed his thanks and gratitude to H.E.Ambassador Sporys and the government of the Czech Republic for this “generous” donation, for the second year in raw, appreciating the high quality of the Czech medical equipment that enhances KAUH’s health service provided to patients.
H.E. Sporys expressed the dedication of the Czech Republic to support health sector, and their readiness to provide more grants and support to the hospital in order to raise the level of health services provided to people in need. Moreover, he added that the main target of this donation is to expand the capacity of the hospital and to facilitate providing treatment to increasing influx of patients, especially among Syrian refugees.
