Bone Pathology and Hematopathology Workshops at King Abdullah University Hospital/Faculty of Medicine/Jordan University of Science and Technology
As part of the activities of the Faculty of Medicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology, the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine concluded two training workshops for pathology specialists and residents at King Abdullah University Hospital. The first workshop focused on Bone Pathology and was held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, while the second addressed Hematopathology on Sunday and Monday, December 22-23, 2024.
Professor Firas Qarqaz, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, inaugurated the workshops, which were accredited for CPD hours by the Jordanian Medical Council. The sessions were conducted by renowned experts in pathology and orthopedic radiology, including Professor Samer Al-Quran and Dr. Mustafa Al-Kawaaz from the University of Louisville, USA, and Dr. Mohammed Alorjani and Dr. Naser Obeidat from the Faculty of Medicine at JUST.
The workshops covered the latest technologies in diagnosing bone diseases, lymphomas, and leukemias, while also highlighting advances in modern classifications of these diseases and tumors.
