A specific operation for a patient suffering from severe calcifications in the temporal joint on both sides and frequent dislocation of the joint during movement

The Department of Special Surgery / Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at King Abdullah University Hospital was able to perform a qualitative operation on a 40-year-old patient who was suffering from recurrent temporomandibular joint dislocation, severe calcifications on both sides, and repeated joint dislocation during movement.

Al-Khatib stressed that such major and delicate operations can only be performed with the presence of qualified cadres and a hospital equipped with the latest types of medical devices and equipment, appreciating the role of the medical staff who participated in the operation and the patient showed great satisfaction after the operation was performed and is currently symmetric for recovery.
